An older doll that I finished while the site was still down...its everyone's favourite elf commander Alythea Wolfsbane and her one-time lover turned captor Dante Bladewing. If you've looked at my traditional art gallery you've seen him before. :D Anyway, this is the first guy doll I've ever successfully completed and I'm pretty damn proud of it, although it looks a lot better as a PNG than an icky GIF. Unfortunately, I'm 'forbidden' to install IE7 so no transparent PNGs for me. ): Base by Haven of Silindor, not adoptable.

Site still under construction, so expect broken links and much unfinished business...

We haven't seen miss McKinsey around for a little while, but I recently decided to go back to roleplaying for a while (at least for the duration of the christmas holidays) so I figured I'd do a doll of her in her Yule Ball dress. I did like four versions of this (combinations of green jacket/white jacket and light polkadots/dark polkadots) but I liked this one the best. You make recognize the hair. I'm a shameless self-frankendoller, I'll admit, but I did edit the hair a little...Non-adoptable, base by Doll on the Hill Factory, face by Something Vague.

I officially started this doll about 5 months ago. All the outlines were done, but none of the shading was, and it sat in my unfinished folder until a little while ago, when I found it and decided to start working on it again...now, it's turned into a doll of my 2007 NaNoWriMo character Alythea Wolfsbane, an exiled elf woman with a troubled past (because a troubled past is more fun to write about, of course). I'm actually rather proud of this one, because the shading came out very soft and ethereal-looking in my opinion. Non-adoptable, base by Fainelloth Dolls.

Ha, well, overtooled as they may be, for my first really successful attempt at draping folds this little vampire's dress is actually o.k. Sort of. Her hair's quite nice, really, but her corset has to be my favourite bit. I hate the shoes. d: She was sort of supposed to be a vampire character of mine, but didn't...end up...looking that way. Happy belated Canada Day to you all. Or, rather, anyone who actually visits my site (all three of you, congratulations). First update for today is this little pretty geisha-girl, who is like three months overdue for a 'colours collaboration' I was supposed to be a part of. But as you know, I'm a slacker, and I put it off until yesterday - my internet was down, so I had nothing to do but find things on my computer to finish up. I like her kimono a whole awful lot, and I'm fairly proud of the folds, especially where they fall across the front because she's 'pulling' them out of the way. Adoptable if you want, base by Orange-Crux.

Well, I've officially been part of Xandorra's The Gathering doller's forum for three years. The sad bit is, hardly anyone knows or cares about me there. I'm just too damn shy for my own good. Anyway, for the third year anniversary, I've made another portrait for the yearbook (you may remember my last year's portrait. ahh, how sad.) The funny thing about yearbooks is you can see how you've improved and such over the course of a year. Also, just by representing what I look like, it's a visual reminder of how much I've grown up. What a strange life we lead sometimes. I particularly like my aviators, because it adds and extra dose of my personality, but the hair I shamelessly frankendolled from my MDI entry. I recoloured it and added more depth, of course, but still. Non-adoptable, base by Xandorra (granted, with heavy edits by myself).

For the Create A Character class over at the Digital Arts University (if you're interested, there's a link on the Links page) I have been instructed to create and doll a new character. Oooh, what fun. So here she is, in all her scarred, pierced, badass glory, the Amyrlin Seat herself, Zaida Ayinne din Medra Two Winds. Sedai. of the Green Ajah. Wouldn't that be a fun name to have to sign on cheques and stuff? Except there's even more to it, formal bits, but I am so not listing those. She's a character based off of the WoT books by Robert Jordan (check 'em out, even though there's like thirteen of them and the series isn't over and each one is slightly bigger than a good sized brick). I am completely aware that the bottom half of her sucks, but I got lazy -- however, I rather like her coat and her hair. And the scar and piercings, duh. Non-adoptable, base by Dollkat.
The little prep doll is my other new character, Zaiera of Tides, from the website Magix of Alfea. Though I don't actually watch the show Winx Club, the site intrigued me and I made a character anyway. Zee here is a little goth-punk witch with a penchant for accidentally starting electrical fires. It really seems like only yesterday that I won MDI, doesn't it? So, now that the third (or is it fourth?) annual Miss Doll International has started, I have handed back my crown and am no longer Miss Doll International....sigh. However, nothing says I can't compete again, and here is the future MDI, the lovely Laura Gauthier, hailing from Montreal! :D For the record, after all these hours of working, I adore the full doll, but the portrait one is fuckin' rubbish. Arrrgh. Non-adoptable, as it's a contest entry. Portrait base and the full doll face by Maladicta at Something Vague; full doll base by DHF.

Okay, so. This is a remake of my very first doll ever, done for a contest at Differentfree's site...and because I've wanted to redo her forever. I think her name was Alicia when I first made her, but I don't really name my dolls anymore so screw it. d: That thing on her ankle is supposed to be a tattoo, and yes, that sword is recycled from the doll I did for Khalexnet a while ago -- I couldn't be bothered to make a new one. Base is by Fainelloth Dolls, face by Maladicta at Something Vague; it's non-adoptable.

Haha, I must really like this base. Anyway, this is me again, and I actually own all these clothes. My shirt has the Beatles on it. Hurrah for the Beatles, and hurray for pinstripe coats. Too bad you can't see my Converse. >.>; I actually really like the hair. The ground is supposed to be cement with grass poking through, but that didn't really pan out so well. First doll in AGES. It's my favourite little germiphobe Ravenclaw, and because I really wish winter were over she's wearing a lovely springy dress. I can't decide whether she's posing that way because she's being coy or because she's scared there might be bugs in the grass. Non-adoptable, base by Crazy Cherriez Graphix.

This itty-bitty little thing is my contribution to a "Months of the Year" collaboration at The Gathering. She is meant to be April, and is a sort of self-portrait (except I never look that cheerful and sunny). She signifies April to me because of her bright, pastel colours, her warm-weather clothes, her flowers, and the diamond hair-clip in her hair. Base by Precious Pixels KH, non-adoptable.
